SINKING

In SINKING, players follow a wish in the form of a coin that has been tossed into a well. They travel through a visually and audibly appealing, constantly changing world and are guided through a reflective and thought-provoking narrative in a slow-paced experience.

SINKING is a vertical slice for a larger-scale art game, heavily inspired by Krillbite's The Plan. In this game, the focus is less on traditional game mechanics and enjoyment in the conventional sense, but rather on evoking certain emotions, such as fascination or unease, in the players and conveying a deeper message wrapped in metaphors, all while maintaining a certain level of interpretive openness. The vertical slice implements one of five major chapters, which in the final game will come together to form a complete journey through time.
